Bilan de la toxicité aiguë

Le pyridaben est faiblement à modérément toxique par la voie orale et modérément par la voie respiratoire. Il est peu toxique par la voie cuntanée. Il est légèrement irritant pour les yeux mais non pour la peau et ce n'est pas un sensibilisant cutané.

Neurotoxicité	Les études de neurotoxicité (aiguë et subchronique) n'ont pas révélé d'effets neuropathologiques. Toutefois, dans l'étude de neurotoxicité aiguë, les animaux ayant reçu la plus forte dose ont démontré des épisodes de piloérection, des tremblements, une hypoactivité ainsi qu'une diminution de poids corporel et de consommation de nourriture. Bilan des effets à long terme

Lors des études subchroniques et chroniques chez les animaux de laboratoire, le principal effet observé fut une baisse de poids corporel. Aucun effet sur la reproduction ou le développement n'a été observé. Le produit n'était pas cancérogène ni génotoxique. Il n'y a rien dans la base de données qui suggère une perturbation endocrinienne.
