Bilan de la toxicité aiguë

La mandipropamide possède une faible toxicité aiguë quelle que soit la voie d'exposition. Elle est peu ou pas irritante pour la peau et les yeux. La mandipropamide n'est pas un sensibilisant cutané.

Types d'effets observés sur la reproduction	Les données de toxicité démontrent qu'il n'y a pas de sensibilité aditionnelle quantitative ou qualitative chez les petits après une exposition in utero ou postnatale. Dans une étude sur la reproduction des rats d'une durée de deux générations, les seuls effets systémiques chez les parents étaient une diminution du poids corporel, de gain de poids corporel ou de consommation de nourriture. Chez les petits, une diminution du poids corporel a été notée aux mêmes doses ainsi qu'un délai dans la séparation du prépuce chez les mâles F1 mais on a considéré que c'était lié au poids corporel. Aucun effet sur la reproduction n'a été observé.

Bilan des effets à long terme

Dans les études chez les animaux de laboratoire, il n'y avait pas d'évidence de neurotoxicité, de mutagénicité ou de cancérogénicité après une exposition à la mandipropamide. Les études subchroniques d'une durée de 90 jours ont démontré que le foie était le principal organe cible chez les rats, les souris et les chiens. Dans l'étude combinée chronique et de cancérogénicité chez les rats (durée de 24 mois), il n'y avait pas d'effets hépatiques chez les rats mais une néphrotoxicité a été notée chez les mâles. Chez les souris après 18 mois, aucun effet au foie n'a été observé. Les données de toxicité démontrent qu'il n'y a pas de sensibilité aditionnelle quantitative ou qualitative chez les petits après une exposition in utero ou postnatale. La mandipropamide n'est pas un perturbateur de la fonction endocrinienne.
